Recently I started using the brand DevaCurl. At first I didn't like it too much. It didn't change my hair at all and in fact added more frizz! Frizz is my arch nemesis. I scheduled a hair cut with a Deva Stylist and she showed me how to use the product. My hair was literally perfect. Turns out, I wasn't using enough gel. She also gave me tons of great tips for curly hair care.
No-Poo: A. This product is wonderful . I hate shampoo. It makes my hair feel stripped, dry and dull. The No-Poo is creamy and does not create suds like shampoos filled with detergent. I scrub my scalp and let the rest run through my hair, and guess what? No stripped feeling!
As far as gel is concerned, I don't like how most leave my hair feeling. That crunchy feeling is just a flat out "NO!" in my book. the DevaCurl leaves a cast around your curls that holds them in place. When you no longer want the cast you scrunch your hair with your hands to remove it. I love that concept.
The only problem I have with the DevaCurl product line, is the price!

ReplyDeleteSame here...I had to go see a stylist to see why my results sucked lol but I found a routine that works for me...I also found that after cleansing and conditioning, I put the kinky curly in and the the Arc Angel gel and my hair looks almost as good as yours (just tighter curls) :)
